This was the best restaurant experience we've ever had. The food was amazing and the owner and staff were incredibly warm and friendly. No other restaurant in Venice we tried measured up to Trattoria Alla Fontana. We will be back as often as we can.

Michael and the other Sir (didn’t get his name) was super friendly making the experience extraordinary:) We showed up at NYE night without reservations, and they helped to set up outdoor seatings in a flash. Food was *chef’s kiss*. Strongly recommend the pasta of the day and squid ink pasta.They were so nice and offered limoncello after the meal it’s the best limoncello we have tasted so far

We had a really great dinner experience here. Do not expect fine dining or even something that is tourist tailored. This is genuine, warm, clumsy at times but always well intended and with a service that makes up for a lot. We had good food, reasonable wine, two power outages, and most importantly a really nice evening with pasta, dessert, atmosphere. What we had come looking for. Go here instead of the tourist restaurants 250 meters closer to the grand canal. There’s a canal here as well. And more of everything.

Wow what an incredible meal and excellent service! They really make you feel so welcome, like family! The food was so delicious, such a generous amount of seafood in the dish! The tiramisu was the best we’ve had! An overall amazing dining experience with the friendliest people. Highly recommend!

Food was great, very fresh, afordable price, not your regular tourist trap food! We had two different pastas and the lamb and everything was delicious! Nice if you can sit outside at their mismatched furniture. We could also at an odd time (17.30) eat without issue. Highly recommend this place!
